2009 Seminar on Creative Use of Resources in Courses

Since 2004, the Information Services Department (ISD) at the University Libraries has been participating in the Summer Seminar on Creative Use of Resources in Course Design. It is part of the activities that are organized for faculty by the Center for Teaching and Learning at AUB.

During the Seminar, the ISD/IL Librarians worked closely on a one-on-one basis with ten faculty members from a variety of disciplines (Business, Communication Skills, Civilization Sequence, Animal Science and Medicine) to integrate library resources into course assignments. The end product showed seamless incorporation of specialized library tools within the content of the enhanced courses.

The venue was the Antoun Ghattas Karam E-classroom.
