Workshop on Library Tools for Faculty Research

The Information Services Department staff and the FEA Librarian organized a workshop to demonstrate what tools faculty need for research prior to publication. Three faculty members (Drs. Hala Mohtaseb, Lina Choueiri and Hassan Artail) presented research processes in their disciplines: Biology, English Literature and Engineering.

Library staff demonstrated some trends in scholarly communication, how to find the impact factor, track citations and how to use RefWorks.
A program and a handout listing all library services were distributed.
